TUYAP FAIRS AND EXHIBITIONS

TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organizations Inc. was established by 24 founders in 1979. The company carries out its business activities by organizing fairs, in the country and abroad, to promote goods and services in different sectors and the country’s export products. It also rents the exhibition centers of the company to domestic and foreign colleagues. The exhibition sector in Turkey has become acknowledged as an organized business activity thanks to TÜYAP. TÜYAP has served around 290.164 companies from 116 countries by organizing 1.542 domestic fairs and 171 international fairs in 38 countries and it is the only private fair organizer with its own exhibition center in Turkey. TÜYAP started its fair organizing activities domestically and abroad given the first (1) certificate of authorization and qualification issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Turkish Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. Recently, TÜYAP carries out its domestic activities due to the certificate of authorization issued by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). TÜYAP is the leading fair organizer in Turkey holding the certificate of quality system fulfilling the requirements of TS-EN-ISO-9001-2008 (Turkish Standarts Institute). TÜYAP is the founder of the Turkish Fair Organizers Association TFYD and the chairman since the foundation of the association. Besides these, in the world TÜYAP is a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, the International Convention and Congress Association ICCA and is the only Turkish member of the Association of Organizers Responsible for National Participations in International Trade Fairs INTEREXPO and has been the World Chairman of this association for the periods 1996-1997 and 2003-2004. TÜYAP Fair Convention & Congress Center ‹stanbul offers a wide range of facilities which are operated in accordance with international standarts and cover a total area of 145.000 square meters, while in Bursa fairs are organized at the 140.000 square meters at Bursa International Fair and Congress Center rented from the Bursa Chamber of Industry and Trade and in Konya, at the 86.000 square meters at Konya Chamber of Commerce - TÜYAP Konya International Fair Center rented from the Konya Chamber of Trade and in Adana, at the 80.000 square meters at TÜYAP Adana International Fair and Congress Center, rented from the Çukurova Fairs Inc and in Diyarbakır, at the 67.000 square meters at TÜYAP Diyarbakır Fair and Congress Center rented from the Diyarbakır Chamber of Industry and Trade, and in Samsun, at the 58.000 square meters at TÜYAP Samsun Fair and Congress Center, rented from the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
