Bioterra was founded in 1990 by a group of farmers who joined together in an effort to grow almonds sustainably, and were the first company to introduce the organic almond production in Spain. Today, Bioterra is an agricultural processing company composed by 600 associated farmers who grow nuts and dried fruits, mostly for several generations, spread over more than 4,000 hectares distributed across 4 regions of Spain. The entire process control from the soil to the consumer and the wide range of Spanish premium almond varieties, sustainably grown in the rich soils of our own farms by traditional and organic farming methods, allow us to ensure the best flavor and nutritional benefits of a purely healthy almond. We grow, produce and market different varieties of Spanish almond, premium figs, wild pine nuts and high quality pistachios, organic and conventional. From these raw materials we manufacture snacks and other gourmet products. All are gluten-free and we provide specialized products differentiation such as pure Stone-Milled, Raw, Keto or Kosher. Bioterra complies with the most demanding international quality standards and organic farming systems, including IFS Food certification with the Higher Level and EU Organic.
