Taif International Airport records largest movement of passengers in its history in 2016 / Foodex_Saudi

Taif International Airport recorded the largest movement of passengers in its history in 2016 AD since its inception in 1396 AH as the number of passengers registered 1,253,369 last year compared to 1,103,525 passengers in the year 2015, an increase of 13.6%.

The flight movement increased during 2016 by 15% compared to the same period of the previous year, bringing the total to 12,280 flights compared to 10,670 flights in 2015.

The Airport's Director Engineer AbdulWahab bin AbdulRashid Bukhari said that Taif Airport has become one of the most prominent destinations due to its geographical location serving Makkah region in support of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
